Mainly private on the health condition of his wife Fumi. On cancer research: "(É) I feel that more development biological view-points must be incorporated in this field. There are a number of old and new findings which can be only adequately interpreted by developmental ideas. However, these ideas are either avoided or neglected apparently because they are incompatible with the 'ideology of cancer research.'".
